The inner hole forms the opposite shape to the screw thread raceway and maintains a certain gap.
On the exposed screw rod, spiral rigid belts, telescopic sleeves, tapered sleeves and some forms of protective cover, such as foldable plastic or artificial leather, are usually used to prevent dust and abrasive particles from adhering to the surface of the screw rod. In addition to the protective cover similar to the guide rail, one end of several protective covers is connected to the end face of the ball nut, and the other end is fixed on the bracket of the ball screw rod.
